Wight Shipyard Co set out to build the ultimate all weather Solent RIB drawing on the experience of Guy Whitehouse design and input from several highly experienced RIB drivers and users, both commercial and leisure. Driven by a 300hp Mercury V8 Fourstroke Outboard the WAR8 achieved 48knots during sea trials in a range of challenging conditions.
